Terminal İstanbul & Flat6Labs Ecosystem & Anchor Partner Signing Ceremony Held
With the vision of becoming Türkiye’s global hub for entrepreneurship and innovation, Terminal İstanbul has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Flat6Labs, one of the most powerful entrepreneurship ecosystem platforms in the MENA region.
The “Terminal İstanbul & Flat6Labs Ecosystem & Anchor Partner Signing Ceremony” marks an important milestone aimed at strengthening Terminal İstanbul’s position within international entrepreneurship networks and establishing a sustainable innovation corridor between Türkiye and the MENA region.
Founded in 2011, Flat6Labs operates across multiple markets including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, Tunisia, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine, and Morocco. Having supported more than 10,000 entrepreneurs and over 1,000 startups to date, Flat6Labs has become one of the most influential startup platforms in the region.
Under the agreement, Terminal İstanbul will be positioned as a strategic ecosystem and Anchor Partner within Flat6Labs’ regional and international network. The collaboration will include joint acceleration programs, investment readiness initiatives, activities supporting startups’ access to global markets, and investor–startup matchmaking programs.
Both parties also aim to strengthen collaboration between entrepreneurship ecosystems in Türkiye and the MENA region by organizing joint events, demo days, investor meetings, and startup showcase programs. In addition, soft-landing programs, founder exchange initiatives, and cross-border collaboration mechanisms will be developed to support the international expansion of startups.
This strategic partnership will accelerate Terminal İstanbul’s integration into global entrepreneurship networks, facilitate Turkish startups’ access to MENA markets, and create a strong bridge between regional innovation ecosystems.
Terminal İstanbul continues its efforts to position Istanbul as a key hub on the global entrepreneurship map through collaborations with entrepreneurship centers, investor networks, and innovation platforms worldwide.
